Long standing pain causes social and psychological problems. We serve patients with long-standing and chronic pain at Pain (Algology) outpatient clinics. Our algologists investigate possible causes of pain; diagnosis is established with physical examination and radiological and electrical diagnostic methods (EMG); and after the diagnosis is established, the cause of pain is managed with medications and interventional methods. Radiofrequency and ozone therapies are effective for lumbar hernia-induced pain, headache, collum and cancer pain. Pain of patient is relived with many advanced treatment modalities, including but not limited to nerve blocks, morphine pumps, spinal cord stimulation and injections for herniated lumbar and cervical discs.
