Lamina means leaf in Latin. Porcelain lamina tooth, also known as leaf porcelain, can be defined as a restoration treatment used in teeth or teeth whose color, structure or position is desired to be changed. Very thin and transparent porcelain sheets are used for porcelain lamina application. The front surfaces of the teeth are thinned between 0.3 and 0.7 mm without reducing the size of the teeth.
